From the Portfolio: New England Architectural Details, Inside and Out

While there's always interplay between a home's external architecture and the rooms within, some spaces allow us to create a more visible relationship the two. For the master bath of this Connecticut home we created a barrel vaulted ceiling to draw the eyes through the space and create depth. inside, the room is airy and bright with a beautiful arched window mirroring the dramatic silhouette of the ceiling. This allows the spacious tub to take center stage and anchor the room.

From the outside, we enjoy the arched window and its companion round mullion windows. This gives this side of the home's exterior added architectural interest. We love how this project came together for our clients. Tour the rest of our Connecticut Back Country Estate project for more impeccable details.
